Homestead, New Haven, East Noble, Bellmont, Leo Opening Night Victors

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Homestead, New Haven, East Noble, Bellmont, And Leo scored high schooll football week 1 victories Friday night, while Carroll dropped its opener.

Zach Terrell passed for 203 yards and three touchdowns and ran for two additional scores as Homestead outlasted Huntington North 57-43.

Cody Frazier ran for 260 yards and two scores for the Vikings.

Te'Vaugn Hurse ran for 72 yards and a touchdown and ran back a kickoff 86 yards for a score to help New Haven scrape past Heritage 21-14.

The Patriots got 116 yards and two scores from Will Knapke.

Evan Croy and Mike Spears each ran for touchdowns to lead East Noble's 13-7 surprise of Concord.

Grant Wilson threw for a score and ran for another, but Carroll fell short at home against Goshen 24-17.

Ryan Mendez ran for 127 yards and scored all three Bellmont touchdowns in their 22-7 success over Woodlan.

Reid Rohrbacher ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns, and Trevon Carr also ran for 121 yards with a score in Leo's 43-6 scamper past Norwell.

Ryan Leiter threw for two of the Lions' scores.
