FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A tough 7 days for the Homestead Spartans came to and end Friday night with a solid 75-54 win over North Side.

Nick Gamble scored 26 points, while Zach Terrell netted 18 for Homestead. Quilyn Howard-Upshaw had 21 for the Redskins.

The Spartans, who started the season 19-0 and shot up to No. 2 in the 4A polls, lost in overtime to Snider Feb. 17 and fell at Northrop on Tuesday.

The 21-point victory is a good remedy for Homestead heading into sectionals. The Spartans have a buy, and await the winner of South Side vs. Huntington North next Friday.

Tommy Schoegler and AWP Director of Operations Scott Zeigler talk about Homestead's chances moving into the postseason.
