More of The Score: Snider Stops Homestead's Perfect Season - Feb. 17

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Homestead's dream of an undefeated season were dash Friday night with an 71-66 overtime loss to Snider.

Every time the Spartans through something Snider's way, the Panthers back, finally giving themselves enough room to hold on for one of the biggest statewide upsets this season.

Stephen Halstead led Snider with 16 points, including two big three-pointers down the stretch: one that sent the game into overtime, and one that sealed the win for the Panthers. Germaine Robinson added 16 points of his own.

No. 2 Homestead must now fight on, placing their first loss in the rearview mirror. The Spartans have won week to tweak their play before sectionals.
