GARRETT, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Leo avenged a regular season loss to Angola Friday night when it counted most.

The Lady Lions upset the Lady Hornets, 45-42, in the 3A Sectional 22 semi-final. The loss ended No. 4 Angola's 20-game winning streak and dream season at 21-2.

Leo was led by center Keanna Gary's 16 points, despite the Akron committ's heavily bandaged injured hand.. Katie Pannabecker added 11 for the Lions.

Leo head coach Carrie Shappell spoke to Tommy Schoegler and AWP Director of Operations Scott Zeigler about the emotion her team played with Friday night; and how it is important for her team to focus Saturday's sectional championship against Concordia Lutheran.
