More of The Score: Sims Shines For Snider - Dec. 9

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Snider's girl basketball team is off to a blistering start. The No. 6 Panthers (7-0) have picked up where they left off in a 20-5 campaign last season, where Snider lost at regionals.

With the graduation of Liza Clemons, forward Akilah Sims has become the post presence for the Lady Panthers. Sims scored 29 points and 9 rebounds in Snider's blowout of North Side on Friday night.

A week ago, Sims became the fourth girls basketball player in Snider history to score her 1,000th career point.

Sims, who signed her letter of intent to play basketball at IUPUI has become a player to watch this year as she finishes her Snider career.

Sims joined Tommy Schoegler and AWP Director of Operations Scott Zeigler on More of The Score to talk about the her season so far.
