WARSAW, Ind. & KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Homestead boys basketball has a very impressive start to the 2011-12 season.

Late-game heroics from Trevor Osborn gave the Spartans a big opening night 50-48 win over Concordia on Tuesday. The Spartans followed with another close win Friday at Warsaw, 67-65.

Northrop is fast out of the gates, too. The Bruins dominated DeKalb, 71-46, on Tuesday night, and East Noble, 69-43, on Friday night.

Homestead head coach Chris Johnson and Northrop head coach Barak Coolman talk about the fast start for their teams on Sound Off.
