FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -

Churubuso's juggernaught offense came into Friday night's game with upset on their mind. The Eagles had clinched the Northeast Corner Conference Championship en route to the school's first undefeated football season. This Busco team was as good as any to try and take down the Knights.

But it was the balanced offensive attack of Luers that ultimately did Busco in Friday night. Runningback Jaylon Smith's 3 touchdowns put the Knights up early, and for good. And the Luers defense stopped a sound Busco offense that averaged nearly 35 points per game this season.

Similiarly, Snider is back in a sectional final against Kokomo, who upset Homestead last week.

Snider's John Nelson and Kokomo's Armond Bridgeforth traded a series of long touchdowns back-and-forth in the first half. Snider's defense came alive in the second half to propel Snider to a 52-28 victory. The Panthers held the Wildkats scoreless in the final two quarters, while scoring 30 points of their own.

Tommy Schoegler and AWP President & CEO talk about both games and the regional tests both Bishop Luers and Snider face next week.
