More of The Score: Homestead Shows Poise In Victory - Sept. 30

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - While Bishop Luers at North Side got Indiana's NewsCenter's top billing of Week 7, the Northeast Hoosier Conference race really heat up with Carroll traveling to Homestead.

The Spartans' 54 points per game average was second in the state coming into Friday.

Carroll find itself in the NHC hunt after a huge win against New Haven earlier this season. Quarterback Grant Wilson has made his own name for himself in the conference.

But once again, the high powered Homestead offense carried the Spartans to victory, 31-10. While the score did not hit the 50+ points plateau, Homestead takes sole possesion of the NHC lead.
