Homestead Rides Skowronek Over Carroll

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Matt Skowronek threw for 171 yards and four touchdowns, two of them to Seth Coate, as Homestead remained unbeaten with a 49-27 win at Carroll Friday night.

Frank Martin ran for two scores for the Spartans, and Skowronek also helped out in the ground game with 98 rushing yards.

Carroll's Drue Tranquill ran back a kickoff for a touchdown and threw a touchdown pass, while Matt Melchi scored twice on short runs for the Chargers.
