East Noble Bests Mistake Prone Carroll; South Wins, North Falls, Luers Now 0-5

UNDATED (21Alive) - East Noble turned Carroll turnovers into a big win Friday night, while South rolled, North fell on a long road trip, and Wayne shut out Luers to make the Knights 0-5.

Harold Wolfe ran for a touchdown and threw for another as East Noble made Carroll pay for eight turnovers in their 27-7 win over the Chargers in Kendallville.

Drue Tranquill ran 22 yards for Carroll's lone score.

Donovan Clark ran for 246 yards and four touchdown with all of the scores coming before the half in South Side's 47-21 romp past Northrop.

The Bruins' John McKinney threw three touchdown passes.

Mike Lovett hit Nick Cook for a pair of touchdown passes, but Mishawaka took a 17-14 decision over North Side in Mishawaka.

Deion Powers ran for one touchdown and took an interception 52 yards for another score as Wayne bested Bishop Luers 15-0, dropping Luers to 0-5, the worst start ever for Knights football.
