Carroll Trounces Warsaw; New Haven, Woodlan Win Big, Churubusco Out (VIDEO)

UNDATED (21 Alive) - Carroll overcame a slow start to blast Warsaw, New Haven and Woodlan cruised to wins, and Churubusco's season was ended Friday night in high school football.

Chandler Boggs tossed five touchdown passes, two of them to Drue Tranquill, who also ran for a score, and Carroll overcame an early 7-0 deficit to hammer Warsaw 42-7.

The Chargers will host Carmel in a 6A regional next week.

Ariest Vasquez rolled up 332 rushing yards with three touchdowns in keying New Haven's 47-0 whitewash of Frankfort in 4A.

Vance Shearer added two touchdown passes for the Bulldogs, who will host Norwell in next week's sectional final.

Jaylin Bennett passed the two thousand yard career rushing mark with a 310 yard night and two touchdowns as Woodlan gained a 32-6 2A win over Prairie Heights.

The Warriors will host Bremen in the sectional final after the Lions ousted Churubusco 35-28 despite 210 rushing yards and two touchdowns by the Eagles' Kane Johnson.
