Bellmont Upsets Homestead; Snider Avoids Upset At Concordia (VIDEO)

UNDATED - (21Alive) - Bellmont handed Homestead its first Northeast Hoosier Conference loss in 28 games Friday night, while Snider held off a big upset bid by Concordia.

Bellmont won its first victory in 17 years over Homestead 14-13 in overtime, as Trevor Love ran for 143 yards and scored both Braves touchdowns on a night when Bellmont did not net a single yard passing.

Logan Ormsby and Austin Krider had the Spartan scores.

Jibri Bramley ran for 92 yards and a touchdown and Colton Painter had a touchdown pass as Snider withstood a strong upset bid by Concordia to edged the Cadets 14-13.

Jon Poore had a rushing touchdown and David Morrison a scoring pass for Concordia, with the difference being the Cadets failing on a two point conversion with 4:25 left in the game.
