INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Super Bowl Host Committee hopes that Indianapolis will soon become "The Epicenter of Awesome."
Since the NFL awarded the Circle City with Super Bowl XLVI in 2008, valuable time, money and resources have gone into making Indianapolis the best venue for the Big Game as possible.
With the Super Bowl festivities officially kicking off Friday, the eyes of the world will descend upon Central Indiana. Similarly, many Hoosiers will travel to Indianapolis to revel in the atmosphere.
Dianna Boyce, Director of Communications for the Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee, joined Tommy Schoegler and AWP Director of Operations Scott Zeigler to discuss many of the events happening the days before the Giants and Patriots play at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Additionally, Indiana's NewsCenter will have week-long coverage of Super Bowl events starting Tuesday. Kickoff for Super Bowl XLVI is 6:29 p.m. on Feb. 5, and can be seen on NBC33.
