INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - When the Indianapolis Colts fired head coach Jim Caldwell on Tuesday, it was just the most recent domino to fall following a 2-14 season for the Colts.
No rest for the weary, the Colts not only have to fill a vacant head coaching position, but must address the quarterback situation.
Actor Rob Lowe created a stir Wednesday when he tweeted that he has some sort of inside knowledge that Manning would retire all together from the National Football League. Manning's agent, Tom Condon, and father, Archie Manning, denied Lowe's tweet.
Ultimately the Colts have to decide what to do with Peyton Manning by by Mar. 8. That is the dealine for $28 million bonus due to him. Or the Colts could trade Manning, truly starting anew.
Either way, Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck is the Colts' presumptive No. 1 overall pick in April's NFL Draft. That could be an even bigger quarterback dilemna than starting Curtis Painter or Dan Orlovsky.
