STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Horrific allegations of a former Penn State football defensive coordinator sexually abusing boys turned the sports world on its ear.

The Penn State University board of trustees on Wednesday fired longtime head football coach Joe Paterno and university president Graham Spanier, Ph.D., sending more shockwaves through Happy Valley.
