FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne TinCaps have once again been rewarded for the best grounds crew in the Midwest League.

The 2013 award marks the fourth consecutive season the 'Caps have won the honor.

The TinCaps installed a new bluegrass surface at Parkview Field after the 2012 season, further improving the playing field.

Head groundskeeper Keith Winter and assistant groundskeeper Andrew Burmette will formally receive the award. The grounds crew also include Trevor Oetting, Corbin Oetting, Aaron Johnson, Bob Michel, and Josh Stork.

With the TinCaps grounds crew's Midwest League win, the group is one of four finalists for the Sports Turf Managers Association Single-A Field of the Year Award to be awarded in December.
