FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Michael Limmer, TinCaps Vice President of Marketing & Promotions, joins Tommy Schoegler to preview upcoming events at Parkview Field.
The TinCaps celebrate Independence Day with a game on Wednesday. The 'Caps will wear special military-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. Proceeds will benefit the World War II Honor Flight Program. Parkview Field will have a patriotic fireworks display to close the night. Limmer says Parkview Field has been permitted to shoot off fireworks during the Allen County burn ban.
The franchise will host another American Red Cross blood drive on Mon., June 16. Donors will receive a free ticket for the June 16 game and discounted menu items at the game.
And Parkview Field goes peanut-free on Wed., June 25. No peanut-based foods will be served that night, so fans with peanut allergies can enjoy a TinCaps game.
