FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Komets head into the Central Hockey League All-Star break as the top team in the league.

The K's own the best record, won the most points, scored the most goals on offense and given up the fewest goals on defensively.

The Komets went 2-2 last week: losing at Bloomington on Tuesday, winning at home versus Dayton on Friday, losing at the Gems on Saturday and beating Dayton again on Sunday.

Center Brett Smith and goalie Nick Boucher are the lone two Komets selected as CHL All-Stars, which plays the Arizona Sundogs on Wednesday night. Boucher will start in the net for the CHL team.

Tommy Schoegler and Komets captain Colin Chaulk put a bow on the first half of the season on Sound Off With The Komets.
