FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - SHinDigZ National Soccer Festival kicked off Thursday night with Notre Dame men's soccer team playing Club Deportivo de Guadalajara.
Chivas legend Salvador "Chava" Reyes was in Fort Wayne for the soccer festival, and to watch his team play.
Reyes, 71, was a premier soccer player in Mexico in the 1950s and 1960s. Reyes won seven league championships with Chivas, scoring a 122 goals.
He also played in three World Cups for Mexico.
Tommy Schoegler and Kent Hormann spoke with Reyes live from the SHinDigZ National Soccer Festival on Sound Off.
