Komets Drop 4-2 Decision at Quad City

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Zac Pearson scored twice and added an assist in leading the Quad City Mallards to their 4-2 win over the Komets Friday night.

Mathieu Curadeau and Leo Thomas scored for Fort Wayne, with Thomas' goal in the third period being the Komets' first even strength goal of the season.

Thomas' goal cut the Quad City lead to 3-2 before Pearson hit an empty net late for the final margin.

The Komets next play next Friday night at home against Bloomington.
