FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers rode the 41 points of Andrew Goudelock to a 116-107 win over the Mad Ants Sunday night.
A hot start led by Anthony Richardson helped the Mad Ants grab an early 34-16 lead.
But the Vipers came storming back behind some sharpshooting from Goudelock, Toure Murry, and Kyle Fogg, taking the lead in the third quarter and stretching it out the rest of the way.
Tony Mitchell followed up his 47 point effort on Friday with 37 in the Sunday loss, while Tommy Smith added 15 points and Brandon Wallace 14.
The Ants are now tied with Erie for the eighth and final D League playoff spot at 23-22, and hold the tiebreaker due to an edge in the season series between the two teams.
The Ants play at Iowa Thursday night.
