TinCaps Takes Series Opener From Dayton (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Ryan Miller and Josh Bauers slammed home runs and Kyle Loyd allowe just two runs in six innings to help the TinCaps down the Dayton Dragons 8-4 Sunday night in the opener of a three game series.

Miller hit his homer as part of a four run second inning, and Bauers clubbed his in the fifth to complete the Fort Wayne scoring, one of his three hits in the game that raised his batting average to .344.

Lloyd fanned four in raising his record to 2-1.

The teams continue their series on Monday at 1:05.
