TinCaps Takes Rain Shortened Win At Lake County

EASTLAKE, OHIO (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Travis Whitmore socked a two run homer and Matt Wisler threw six innings of two hit shutout ball as the TinCaps took a rain shortened 4-0 victory at Lake County Sunday night.

The game was called after six innings.

Whitmore's homer came in the sixth inning.

Jace Peterson and Yeison Ascensio also drove in runs for the TinCaps, who won for the third straight time and moved to 7-3 in the second half.

Wisler fanned six in running his record to 3-4.

The series continues Monday night.
