EASTLAKE, Ohio (21 Alive) - The TinCaps let an early 4-0 lead slip through their fingers, and ended up 6-5 losers to the Lake County Captains Saturday night, giving Lake County a three game series sweep.

A second inning two run homer by Henry Charles helped Fort Wayne build that 4-0 lead, but Lake County rallied for four runs in the fifth to gain a 5-4 lead.

The TinCaps managed to tie the game in the top of the ninth on an RBI groundout by Fernando Perez, only to have Lake County score in the bottom of the ninth on a Dustin Peterson throwing error.

The TinCaps now stand two and a half games behind Great Lakes for the last Midwest League Eastern Division second half playoff spot with nine games remaining.

They start a three game series with Bowling Green at Parkview Field Sunday night at 6:05.
