TinCaps Prep For Playoff Opener

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The TinCaps worked out at Parkview Field Tuesday afternoon in advance of their Midwest League playoff series opener against Lansing on Wednesday night.

Manager Jose Valentin says he will start righthander James Needy in the opener, and then trot out ace Matt Wisler for Game 2 in Lansing Thursday night.

The TinCaps want to try to extend their at bats and get into the Lansing bullpen as soon as possible, since they feel the quailty of pitching talent is not as good among the relievers as in the Lugnuts' starting rotation
