COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (21 Alive) - The TinCaps led briefly in their second half opener at West Michigan Thursday night but ended up a 15-4 blowout loser to the WhiteCaps.

Fernando Perez singled home a run in the first for a 1-0 lead that lasted two innings.

Then four more errors led to their downfall, as did home runs by Jeff Holm and Francisco Contreras turned the game completely West Michigan's way.

Ryan Miller had a two run homer for the TinCaps, while Jake Bauers had two more hits to raise his batting average to .365.

The two teams have Friday night off before laying a day-night doubleheader on Saturday.
