FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - The Lake County Captains raked five Fort Wayne pitchers for 15 hits in a 12-6 win over the TinCaps on Sunday, with nearly 7,000 fans on hand at Parkview Field.

Chief problems for the TinCaps hurlers were Ivan Castillo with two home runs and Clint Frazier with a bases clearing double.

Fort Wayne's two hottest hitters keyed the Caps' offense with Trea Turner including his third homer in a three hit day that raised his lofty batting average to .431.

Nick Schulz added a two run double in a five run sixth that for a time had the TinCaps within three at 9-6, only to have the Captains pad their lead late and pull away.

The loss dropped Fort Wayne further out of the playoff race.

The TinCaps have Monday off before heading to Lansing for three on Tuesday.
