TinCaps Come Up Short At Lake County

May 19, 2013 Updated May 19, 2013 at 3:29 PM EST

EASTLAKE, Ohio (www.incnow,tv) - Anthony Santander's second inning three run homer erased an early 2-0 TinCaps lead and helped the Lake County Captains top Fort Wayne 7-5 on Sunday.

A first inning RBI single by Maxx Tissenbaum and a run scoring double in the second by Stephen Carmon staked the TinCaps to a 2-0 lead, but they lost the lead for good on Santander's second inning blast.

Tissenbaum drove in two runs for Fort Wayne, who got the tying run to the plate in the ninth inning after scoring three times, but Dane Phillips went down swinging as that potential tying run to end the game.

The series wraps up Monday night in suburban Cleveland.
