FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A big seventh fourth inning outburst made the Fourth of July a true holiday for the TinCaps, keying their 8-1 win over Bowling Green Wednesday night.

Kyle Gaedele drove in two of the fourth inning runs with a single to left, and three more came in on Jace Peterson's bases loaded single and an error by Hot Rods left fielder Josh Sale.

Austin Hedges opened the scoring in the second with a run producing double, and Tyler Stubblefield's single and Yeison Ascensio's sacrifice fly sent in the other runs in the big fourth.

Frank Garces struck out five and gave up three hits in five shutout innings to get the win.

The series continues Thursday night.
