TinCaps Bats Come Alive In Win Over Wisconsin

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Tyler Stubblefield and Felix Cabrera belted solo home runs and the TinCaps turned back the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 7-4 Monday night in the rubber game of their three game series.

Stubblefield lofted his homer just inside the right field foul pole in the first inning, and Cabrera hammered his first of the year onto the green over the left center field wall in the fourth.

Yeison Asencio and Mike Gallic each drove in a pair of runs for Fort Wayne, and Frank Garces survived a somewhat shaky start to go five innings for his sixth win.

The TinCaps have Tuesday off, tben head to Cedar Rapids Wednesday to open a three game series and six game road trip.
