NEW YORK, New York (www.incnow.tv) - It did not come until early Friday morning, but Deshaun Thomas finally had his moment in the NBA Draft, taken 58th overall by the San Antonio Spurs.
Thomas watched with family and friends in Indianapolis, and it had to be nervewracking for the former Bishop Luers and Ohio State star as he watched name by name be called before his turn finally came.
Thomas, the Big Ten scoring leader last season, goes to a team with a winning tradition that got to the NBA Finals this season before bowing in seven games.
