FORT WAYNE -- Komets veteran forward Leo Thomas could be heading south. Reports say Thomas will join former Komets assistant coach Gary Graham in Florida as a player / assistant coach for the Pensacola Ice Flyers. In four years with the Komets Thomas was part of three championship teams, scoring 86 goals while adding 77 assists.

He led the Komets in goals during the 2009 - '10 season with 33. Limited to 54 games this past season, Thomas had eight goals and 16 assists. Graham was recently named the new Head Coach of the Flyers. An official announcement on Thomas' signing could come later this week.
