Reinforcements Help K's To Win Over Gwinnett

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Three of the players added to the Komets' roster New Years Day played key roles in the K's 4-2 win over Gwinnett Wednesday night.

Luca Caputi assisted on three goals, including the game winner by Corey Elkins with 3:59 left in regulartion that broke a 2-2 tie, and Marco Cousineau turned back 28 of 30 shots for the win in goal.

Caputi also assisted on both of Thomas Beaureagard's first period goals that staked the Komets to a 2-0 lead.

Kaleigh Schrock hit an open net in the final minute to finish the scoring.

The Komets return to action Friday night at home against Cincinnati.
