FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Ethan Cox and Yannick Tifu scored goals 47 seconds apart early in the first period, setting the Reading Royals on the path to a 4-2 win over the Komets Friday night.

Goals by Chris Auger in the first period and Mike Vaskivuo in the second twice brought the K's back within a goal, but each time Reading's Aaron Gens scored to restore the two goal lead.

The Komets try again at home Saturday night against Wheeling.
