UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Norwell grad and Oakland Athletics pitcher Jarrod Parker's stock among American League Rookie of the Year candidates is rising.
Sports web site The Bleacher Report lists Parker as third among players meriting consideration for the award.
Las Angeles Angels centerfielder Mike Trout, the league's leading hitter, and Texas pitcher Yu Darvish, a ten game winner alreaday, are 1-2 on the list, and considered well ahead of Parker, who is 4-1 in his last eight starts with a 1.71 ERA.
