FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) Newly added 18 year old first baseman Jake Bauers went three for three, belted a two run homer, and knocked in three runs to lead the TinCaps' 8-4 win over the South Bend Silver Hawks Saturday night.

Bauers singled in the first Fort Wayne run in the second and then hammered his homer deep over the right field wall onto the walkway with a man on in the third.

He is hitting .500 in the week he has been up with the Caps.

Newly added catcher Adolfo Reina and shortstop Chase Jensen, both added to the roster on Thursday, each drove in their first runs as TinCaps.

The rubber game of the three game series and finale of the seven game home stand is Sunday at 3pm at Parkview Field.
