New Ants Coach Gansey Coaches In, Wins First Home Game

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Mad Ants made new interim head coach Steve Gansey a winner in his first home game in the job, topping Canton 107-98 Saturday night.

Gansey, who prior to the game said he expected to see improvement, got it in a 21 point night from Darnell Lazare, with Ron Howard adding 15, and Walker Russell, Jr. 14 with ten assists.

The Ants now head to Reno to play two games in the D League Showcase.
