Mad Ants Regain Winning Tough At Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Marvin Phillips had 20 points and 12 rebounds as the Mad Ants moved back into the eighth and final NBA D League playoff spot with a 96-83 win at Springfield Thursday night.

The Ants, now 18-22, moved past idle Texas and back into the eighth playoff spot with ten games left in the regular season..

Darnell Lazare and Ryan Wittman each added 14 points for Fort Wayne, who play at Springfield again Saturday night.

Coach Joey Meyer says at this point in the season in the Ants' playoff situation, every game becomes a must win.
