DAYTON, OHIO (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Kyle Waldrop's RBI single in the eighth inning snapped a 3-3 tie and the Dayton Dragons scored a 4-3 win over the TinCaps Saturday night in the opener of a three game series and a six game Fort Wayne road trip.

The Tincaps built an early 3-0 lead on a second inning RBI double by Duanel Jones and a B.J. Gwynn sacrifice fly, and a third inning run scoring single by Yeison Asencio.

But Joe Terry's two run single pulled the Dragons closer in their half o the third, they would then tie it in the sixth, and take the lead on Waldrop's big hit in the eighth.

The series continues Sunday in Dayton.
