Komets To Face Cincinnati in 2nd Round

CINCINNATI (21Alive) - The Cincinnati Cyclones eliminated the Solar Bears at Orlando with a 2-1 win Tuesday night to take their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Semifinal series 4-2.

The Cyclones advance to the Conference Semifinals and will face the Fort Wayne Komets. The best-of-seven series will follow a 2-3-2 format and begin this Friday night at Cincinnati at 7:35. Game 2 is slated for Saturday at 7:35 at Cincinnati.

The Komets will host game 3 Thursday, May 8 at 7:30pm and game 4 Saturday, May 10 at 7:30pm, If necessary game 5 of the second round series will be skated at Cincinnati Tuesday, May 13 at 7:35pm and game 7, if needed, will faceoff at Cincinnati Wednesday, May 14 at 7:35pm.

  • Game 4: Cincinnati at Komets, Saturday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Game 5*: Cincinnati at Komets, Sunday, May 11 at 6 p.m.
  • Game 6*: Komets at Cincinnati, Tuesday, May 13 at 7:35 p.m.
  • Game 7*: Komets at Cincinnati, Wednesday, May 14 at 7:35 p.m.
