(Fort Wayne)- After the first period on Saturday night it looked like a replay of the previous Saturday.

On a night when the K's retired the #2 jersey of Guy Dupuis the team found themselves down 2-0 after the first period to Evansville. That is when Al Sims changed up some of the lines and suddenly in the second period the offense started clicking. Brett Smith, Bobby Chaumont and Jesse Bennefield's line came through with 2 goals.

The game went into a shootout tied at 3 and Evansville scored in the first 2 rounds but that was all the Iceman would get against Nick Boucher. It went into the 11th round when Artem Podshendyalov came through with the game winner.

We will be talking about the big win on "Sound Off with the Komets" on Monday at 7:30 on 21Alive from Wrigley Field Bar & Grill. Come on out as Dustin and Bryant Molle will be our guests.
