Komets Win Regular Season Finale; Will Face Reading In Playoffs (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Mike Embach tallied the deciding goal in the shootout and Steven Summerhays turned back the final Toledo shooter to give the Komets a 4-3 win over Toledo Saturday night in the K's final game of the regular season.

Despite the win, the Komets remained in the eighth playoff position in the ECHL Eastern Conference, and will face Reading in the first round of the playoffs starting on Thursday.

Brandon Marino, who finished as the ECHL scoring champ, tallied one of the Fort Wayne goals in regulation, with the others being scored by Simon Danis-Pepin and Jason Dale.
