FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Former Komet Mike Ratchuk and Corey Trivino each had a goal and two assists as the Florida Everblades smacked the Komets 6-3 Friday night.

The loss dropped the Komets nine points out of the final playoff spot in the ECHL's Eastern Conference with eleven games left in the regular season.

Jamie Milam's second period goal tied the game at 1-1, but Florida, the defending ECHL champions who are also struggling to hold a playoff spot, netted the next three goals and settled the issue.

Tyler Butler and Matt Firman also scored for the Komets.

The two teams meet again Saturday night.
