FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Terry Broadhurst and Joey Martin netted early third period goals to break a scoreless tie as the Toledo Walleye edged the Komets 2-1 Friday night.

Colin Chaulk got the K's within a goal with 1:53 left in the third period to close the gap, but that's where the rally ended.

The K's may have seen where the game was going in the first period when Brett Smith failed to score on a penalty shot.

The Komets host Evansville Saturday night.
