Komets Put Six On CHL Protected List

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Komets have placed six players on their Central Hockey League protected list, meaning no other league teams can negotiate with those players.

The K's could have protected as many as eight.

Placed on the protected list were defensemen Frankie DeAngelis, Craig Cescon, and Dustin Molle, as well as forwards Artem Podshendyalov, Tab Lardner, and Kaleigh Schrock.

Lardner was protected even thouigh he has said he will retire as a player.

All six players arelikely to be signed for next season soon.
