Komets Goalie Situation Gets Sticky

February 10, 2013 Updated Feb 10, 2013 at 9:45 PM EST

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - The Komets begin this week with just one regular roster goalie.

Charlie Effinger played all three games in Colorado, and was backed up in two of them by Marco Couineau.

But Cousnieau has been called up to Norfolk of the AHL, and in Saturday nights loss at Colorado, Effinger was backed up by Colorado college goalie John Miller, who was paid a hundred dollars for the task and was released at the end of the game Saturday night.

IPFW goalie Larkin Saalfrank is to practice with the team Monday and could back up Effinger Tuesday night in Cincinnati.
