EVANSVILLE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Josh Beaulieu popped a rebound past Cody Reichard with 7:24 gone in the third period to break a 2-2 tie and the Evansville Icemen went on to a 4-2 win over the Komets Sunday night.

The game was the first of twelve Komet road games that will air on MyTV Fort Wayne.

Mike Vaskivuo's first period goal had the K's up 1-0 after a period, but Evansville came out firing in the second period and scored twice to take a 2-1 lead after 40 minutes.

Mickey Lang brought the Komets even with a shorthanded goal in the third, only to have Beaulieu untie the gme 23 seconds later.

Lang has now scored in each of the Komets' first three games.

The Komets leave for Las Vegas Thurday where they play their next three games Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with the first two games to be telecast on MyTV Fort Wayne.
