Komets Bust Out Offense In 8-5 Win Over Evansville (With Video)

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Matt Syroczynski scored twice and added an assist as the Komets hit their highest goal total in a game this season with their 8-5 win over the Evansville Icemen Sunday night.

Syroczynski scored the first two goals of the game for the K's and was followed lighting the red lamp by Jason Hegarty, Brett Smith, J.P. Labardo,
Thomas Beauregard, Kaleigh Schrock, and Daniel Nycholat.

Nick Schaus added three assists.

The win coupled with a Toledo loss on Sunday left the K's eight points behind the Walleye for the final ECHL Eastern Conference playoff spot with six games remaining.
