Komets Blow Lead, But Win In Shootout (VIDEO)

ESTERO, Fla. (21 Alive) - Brandon Marino;s goal in the shootout and Ben Meisner's subsequent stop of Trevor Bruess gave the Komets their 4-3 shootout win over the Florida Everblades Friday night.

The K's got goals from Kenton Miller, Jordon Southorn, and Jace Coyle in three times taking one goal leads and losing them, twice on shorthanded goals by Florida.

Two of the Fort Wayne scores were power play goals.

Meisner stopped 22 of 25 shots, and all four in the shootout for the win.

The Komets and Florida play the rubber game of their three game series Saturday night.
