FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Dan Eeve's goal as the seventh shooter in the shootout was the difference in the Komets 3-2 loss to the Cincinnati Cyclones on Friday night.

The K's led 1-0 after a period on a goal by Dan Oullet, but Cincinnati tied it in the second period and went ahead early in the third before Brandon Marino, who had assisted on Ouellet's goal, rifled a shot by Scott Darling with eight minutes remaining for the equalizer.

Neither team could score in overtime before Cincinnati would prevail in the shootoit.

The Komets play at Kalamazoo Saturday night.
